Continuous measuring of the acid density

For almost one century the lead acid battery industry tried to increase the battery life time:

In these maintenance free batteries the acid is either pumped through the whole battery or fixed in solid structure, to prevent the acid stratification and the water loss. But in practise the batteries never exceed the 1000 cycles as shown in the labs of the battery industries. This is cause of the self discharge of the system, which could not be controlled by the customer.

Now Gaskatel offers an acid density control which allows you to measure the acid concentration and the temperature continuously in the whole battery. Because the acid density control measures over the whole acid stratification, one can use the technical measure to determine the state of charge. Thus you are able to prevent overcharging and deep depletion.
