Analyte compartment made of PEEK for ElyFlow for measurements with separated anolyte and catholyte
Very aggressive ions are often generated at the counter electrode. Even small quantities may lead to corrosion on the working electrode.
Therefore, Gaskatel offers an additional analyte compartment.
A membrane is inserted between the analyte and counter electrode compartment. This membrane separates anolyte and catholyte. The working electrode is thus protected from the reaction products of the counter electrode.
If you have purchased one complete test cell ElyFlow, you already have one analyte compartment made of PTFE.
However, ElyFlow allows you to implement 3 analyte compartments in total.
