This electrolysis cell is designed for educational or demonstration purposes of alkaline electrolysis.

This cell has 2 cylindrical electrolyte compartments that can be separated by a membrane.

The electrodes are made of plated nickel expanded metal.

The distance between the electrodes and the membrane can be easily adjusted from
0 - 10 mm with a rotary handle and read on an external scale.

The electrode potentials can be measured with reference electrodes via a Haber-Luggin-capillary that is integrated in the cell body and ends close to the membrane.
